Basic Class

This class focuses on learning the basic Ukemi (falls) and movements, and practicing repeatedly the basic Aikido techniques.
Recommended for beginner and intermediate level.

Children’s Class (English immersion)

Aimed at Elementary School kids. The class is conducted solely in English while learning Ukemi (fall) and basic Aikido movements.
The class is taught by Chris Mulligan; technical director of Aikido Kyoto and English speaking assistants.

Pee Wee Class

Aikido class aimed at children between 4 and 6 years of age.
Kids learn the basics of ukemi (fall) in a fun and active class.

Zazen

Zen meditation practice takes place Tuesday mornings before aikido class and on Sunday evenings at Nishijin Dojo. People who are not members of Aikido Kyoto are also welcome to join. Please inquire details.
